Our antique black ‘Cottage Thumb Latch Set’ is made of high quality handmade wrought iron. Protected with a high density zinc rich undercoat to increase durability, with a UV colour fast black powder coated finish. The door or gate is fixed with thumb latch on one side and latch bar on the other side. It is a traditional basic operation gate latch. When the thumb latch is depressed the latch bar raises on the other side of the gate from its keep allowing the gate to open.
